Perfect for
- Lippan art wall pieces
- Mandala wall plates and rangoli boards
- Acrylic paintings and name plates
- Resin wall art
Compatibility
Works with: acrylic paints, gesso, Lippan clay, mirrors and epoxy resin.
Pairs well with: mandala dotting tools for dot art, and gold or silver mirrors for Lippan.
Not suitable for: string art with nails, as the board is too thin to hold them. Choose a 12mm board for that.
How to Use
- Sand lightly and wipe off the dust.
- Apply a thin coat of gesso so the MDF does not soak up paint, and let it dry before you decorate.
Before You Buy
- Plain board only. Paints, gesso, mirrors and resin are sold separately.
- The photo is shared across sizes. You receive the 12x6 Inch board.
- Near twin: the 6x12 inch board with code MDFRE-6X12 is the same size but 4mm thick. This one is 3.3mm.
