Compatibility

Works with: Quartz clock movements with an 18mm spindle, made for boards 3 to 7mm thick. The spindle is the threaded tube that carries the hands; it must pass through the board and still leave thread for the nut. A 12mm spindle suits boards up to 3mm only, so it is too short for this 3.3mm board.

Pairs well with: Clock hands made for a 12 inch clock, a clock dial, Lippan mirrors and epoxy resin.

Not suitable for: Heavy, thick resin pours or deep clay work. Choose the 12 inch 6mm board for those, and keep the MDF away from damp spots unless sealed.
