Compatibility

Works with: Quartz clock movements with an 18mm spindle, made for boards 3 to 7mm thick. The spindle is the threaded tube that carries the hands; on a 6mm board it leaves less spare thread for the nut. If you add a thick resin coat or a number ring under the nut, choose a 22mm spindle, which suits boards up to 11mm.

Pairs well with: Clock hands made for a 12 inch clock, Lippan art materials and epoxy resin.

Not suitable for: 12mm spindle movements, which are made for boards up to 3mm only, or damp spots unless the MDF is sealed.
