Cast agate slice coasters that look cut from real stone with this square agate coaster & magnet mould. The mould casts a small square agate slice for magnets (2 Inch, 5mm deep). It is made of flexible white silicone that bends away from the cured piece and works with epoxy resin and UV resin. Agate moulds copy the uneven edge of a stone slice; after demoulding, many artists paint the edge with gold or silver for a geode look.

How to Use

1. Place the mould on a flat, level surface and check it is clean and dry.
2. Mix your resin and hardener in the ratio your resin maker gives, stirring slowly to limit bubbles.
3. Add pigment, mica or inclusions if you like, then pour to the rim of each cavity.
4. Pop surface bubbles gently and cover to keep dust off.
5. Leave to cure for the full time your resin maker states.
6. Flex the silicone away from the edges and ease the piece out.
