Square mirrors are a clean geometric shape, and at 25mm they are a large size for bold focal placement at the centre of a panel. These are real silver glass mirrors with smooth cut edges, so they stitch cleanly onto fabric and sit flat on MDF, clay and wall work. Sold loose by weight in a 50g pack.

Compatibility

Works with: shisha and buttonhole stitch on fabric, Lippan clay and cone paste, white craft glue, glue gun and MDF, wood, canvas and painted wall surfaces.

Pairs well with: Lippan clay, MDF bases, mandala dotting tools and other mirror shapes for layered patterns.

Not suitable for: high heat, outdoor exposure without sealing, and any piece that will be washed or scrubbed.

How to Use

1. Lay the whole pattern out dry first, so you can see the spacing before anything is fixed.
2. On fabric, hold the mirror in place and work a shisha or buttonhole frame around it.
3. On Lippan work, press the mirror into the clay while it is still soft, and clean any paste off the face at once.
4. On MDF or a wall, fix with craft glue or a glue gun and leave it to set fully before handling.

Before You Buy

• Sold by weight, not by count. A 50g pack of 25mm holds roughly the weight you would expect, and the smaller sizes in this range give many more pieces per pack than the larger ones.
• These are glass. Edges are cut and smoothed but they can still chip, so keep them off hard surfaces and handle them with dry hands.
• No holes are drilled, so on fabric they are held by stitching around the mirror rather than through it.
• Shapes are cut by hand, so small variation in outline and size within the pack is normal.
